excision synechia scar tissue left oropharynx

Patient had a tonsillectomy years ago. My doctor had to perfroma a different type of surgery and during removal of the intubation tube, scar tissue from tonsillectomy was damaged. This cause a flap of skin to continuously hang down in patient's throat and was very bothersome. My doctor went in to remove that scar tissue.

I would consider 42808 here. The hanging scar tissue after post tonsillectomy is a type of an abnormality only.
