IF OUR PHYSICIAN DOES A SPHINCTEROTOMY WITH STENT PLACEMENT AND DID A SWEEP
OF THE BILE DUCT WITH A BALLON TO ENSURE THERE WERE NO STONES, AND THERE WERE NONE.....CAN HE CHARGE FOR THE BALLON SWEEP(43264)?

There is also a note included in the CPT definitions for codes 43264 and 43265 that states [w]hen done with a sphincterotomy, use 43262.

You can code it to 43262 which will include balloon sweep charge too
