dx code

Janet Posted Fri 22nd of June, 2012 15:28:40 PM

My dr did a diagnostic egd prior to a diagnostic ercp to see make sure there weren't any obstuctions that would stop him from advancing the ercp scope to the bile duct. Pt had an accident few yrs ago and suffered injuries to the duodenum which is why he did the egd to make sure nothing was in his way. For the egd dx he put post surgery changes duodenum. What is the dx code? Is there a V code??

I would recommend using V67.09 here.
