CPT 58662 is appropriate to bill for the scenario.

What about code 49322?
So Would I bill 58662 and 49322 w/ a modifier?

SuperCoder Answered Tue 03rd of November, 2015 10:01:22 AM

No, CPT 49322 is only for aspiration of cavity or cyst, whereas CPT 58662 covers excision of lesions of the ovary by laser ablation. So, CPT 58662 is appropriate code to bill for the case.
