DMEPOS Billing Medicaid for Diabetic Supplies

I know that DMEPOS billing Medicare Part B for diabetic supplies (A4253, A4259) must bill prospectively. Do state Medicaid programs follow Medicare guidelines and also require prospective billing of those supplies?
