Can you give a physician code 99239, if he states "discharge process took greater than 30 min."

Hi,

CPT code 99239 is reimbursable if the doctor states that discharge process took greater than 30 min if the provider clearly indicates in the patient's medical record and the E/M services provided on the discharge day.
