Hello Joel,

Thank you for your question.

The official code descriptor of CPT® code 73630 states: Radiologic examination, foot; complete, minimum of 3 views

The official code descriptor of ICD code M85.811 states: Other specified disorders of bone density and structure, right shoulder

Since, the x-rays were performed of the foot region, reporting diagnosis code of shoulder would be inappropriate.

Kindly report the diagnosis code related to foot anatomy/ or lower limb; as per the documentation.

To seek the appropriate ICD10 CM code, provide us with the reason for performing foot x-ray.

Please feel free to write if you have any question.

Thanks
