Need help with this cpt code: Would this be coded with a nerve block code or a joint injection? "once the area was localized, I injected just medial to the right shoulder blade and cutaneous tissue using a 3 cc syringe 4 cc of dehydrated alcohol in a circular distribution to the area that was causing her the most issues"

Hi,

Dehydrated alcohol is injected proximate to nerve tissues to produce degeneration of nerve function (i.e. neurolysis) for control of chronic pain. So, you should report this as a nerve block.

Thanks.
