Thanks so much. I have another question as well, do you know if the new CPT 77469 has a technical component? The description says IORT "management" but the book shows a facility and a professional RVU?

77469 does not have a technical component. Radiation treatment management requires and includes a minimum of one examination of the patient by the physician for medical evaluation and management (eg, assessment of the patient's response to treatment, coordination of care and treatment, review of imaging and/or lab test results with documentation) for each reporting of the radiation treatment management service. Code 77469 represents only the intraoperative session management and doesnot include medical evaluation and management outside of that session. The professional services furnished during treatment management typically include a.) Review of port films b.) Review of dosimetry, dose delivery, and treatment parameters c) Review of patient treatment set-up.

Since 94780 and 94781 are pulmonary services. The codes will likely fall under:

Revenue Code Description: Pulmonary Function
Used in OPPS: Y
Primary cost center source for CCR:3560
