CPT for Transluminal Endoscopic Closure of Gastric Fistula using clips

Susan Posted Thu 17th of April, 2014 10:45:57 AM

Physician will ablate the fistula tract with argon plasma coagulation then use clips to close the fistula. If the physician places sutures around the fistula is the cpt code going to be the same?

Use 43270. Placement of clips or sutures is part of the procedure and should not be reported separately.
