Charlene Posted Tue 15th of September, 2015 15:54:51 PM

Due to infection, the breast tissue expander is removed, capsule washed out with antibiotic. Another tissue expander is placed at same setting. What is the cpt code(s)?

The American Society of Plastic Surgery suggests 19357. Do not bill separately for removal of the expander.
