I need a code for a Pars Plana Vitrectomy and removal of IOL, and Implantation of sclera fixation.

There are 2 CPT codes for removal of implanted material: 65920 (removal of implanted material, anterior segment) and 67121 (removal of implanted material, posterior segment, intraocular. Please use the appropriate CPT code as per your case. For pars plana vitrectomy, if done with 65920, bill 67036, but if done with 67121, you cannot bill the pars plana vitrectomy separately, as it is considered integral component of the procedure. For scleral fixation implantation, use 67250/67255 for Posterior Sclera fixation and 66220/66225 for anterior sclera fixation accordingly. Please do not forget to check CCI edits for your codes as these codes may get bundled with each other.
