Medical Posted Thu 26th of June, 2014 16:30:12 PM

Can you tell me which DX can be billed with CPT 17110?
DX: 706.1, 692.9, 691.8, 706.2

Thank you!

You should use 706.2 -Sebaceous cyst.

Code 17110 represents " Destruction (eg, laser surgery, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, chemosurgery, surgical curettement), of benign lesions other than skin tags or cutaneous vascular proliferative lesions; up to 14 lesions".

Out of four diagnoses codes given by you only 706.2 - sebaceous cyst, is a benign lesion that can be billed with 17110.
