Regarding Carona virus pandemic, please let me know which coding updates have been added in CPT, ICD, HCPCS codes. Our clients will be postponing elective surgeries, but are planning to go for telemedicine and online services. Which codes will have to be used? Can new visits be billed for telemedicine and online mode, as physical examination can not be conducted, can we code with Hx and MDM? How do we use modifiers?

Not the inclusion of history and physical examination would be effective from 1st Jan 2021. It is not applicable before the scheduled date. Currently, general E&M guidelines as per three component requirements are being followed.
Hope that helps!
