DX: Pneumoperitoneum with sigmoid perforation, diabetes, chronic steroid use, lunch cancer.

Postoperatice DX: Same, Urethral stricture

Doctor's procedure: Exploratory laparotomy, sigmoid colectomy with hartmann pouch, end colostomy,suprapubic urinary bladder cather tube placement.

Can I code 49000, 44143-59, 51705 together?

Per the CCI edits 49000(Exploratory laparotomy, exploratory celiotomy with or without biopsy(s) is a column 2 code for 44143 and these codes cannot be billed together in any circumstances.

You may bill 51705 with the 44143.
