How do I code a healed wound? It was originally 891.0 and is now healed on the last note. She is also scheduled to come in for a stocking f/up next week. I am not sure how to proceed?...

V58.43 is appropriate in this scenario.

Do I add this as a secondary code? Or, do I need to remove the 891.0 since the wound is healed??

Perfect to be used as Primary Code. But, sometimes Insurance denies V code for Primary. In that case, it is not wrong to use 891.0,V58.43
