What is the correct code to use for the repair of what the doctor is calling a congential diaphramatic hernia repair. The patient is not a neonate, the child is a 4 year old who only had symptoms 4 days prior to surgery-chest pain followed with fever and loss of appetite.
a portion of the colon was also resected with anastomosis,due to protrusion through a small chest defect. 39540, 44140?
