Hello. I captured 40720 & 30462, but quite not sure. Please read below. 1. Secondary Cheiloplasty 2. Secondary cleft nasal reconstruction w/ repair of vestibular stenosis. 3. Septoplasty 4. Removal of cyst x2 in the lip. 1st to the lip where an elliptical incision was made over the lip scar w/ dissection of the cyst which was identified - See more at: https://www.supercoder.com/my-ask-an-expert/topic/cleft-reconstruction#sthash.HE6bi0LB.dpuf

Hi,

CPT 40720 is appropriate as per the documentation of secondary cleft nasal reconstruction. I would suggest use Cpt code 30520 which seems appropriate for septoplasty. Cpt code 30465 should be used instead of 30462 as 30462 states Rhinoplasty for nasal deformity secondary to congenital cleft lip and/or palate, including columellar lengthening; tip, septum, osteotomies and 40720 includes secondary repair, by recreation of defect and reclosure. 30465 seems more appropriate for repair of nasal vestibular stenosis.
