New to OB/GYN coding.

Routine circumcision V50.2
CPT 54150
My doc doesn't specify any devices, clamps etc.
Is this coding correct?

Also, do I bill this under the mother's name or is the newborn added as a patient.

Since no device or clamp is mentioned, then we can't code 54150. From the other two codes available we can use the following codes and bill in the name of newborn (Criteria of Insurance holder to be taken into consideration):

for neonate (28 days of age or less): 54160
for older than 28 days of age: 54161

with ICD: V50.2
