Chemo order

Vicky Posted Tue 05th of July, 2011 21:14:17 PM

Do the chemo admin codes need to go before the drug codes? I have always billed this way but our new EHR person is saying otherwise.

It is a scenario to be checked out. By practice you may be billing drug code first and admin code second. But, you need to check the RVU and bill as per descending order of RVUs. Check the codes and the respective RVUs that you bill. Arrange in descending order of RVUs.
