Hi Eleen,

The suggested codes for the above procedure performed so far are 36226-Rt for vertebral artery, 36227 x2 for Selective catheterization of occipital and ascending pharyngeal (branches of external carotid artery), since this is a stand alone code we will bill it with the primary code 36222-Rt or as supported by further documentation. Thanks for the response. 36227 is only to be billed once, if I remember correctly. Wouldn't that be billed just as 36227-RT? Thanks so much
