Hi Prahlad,

These types of cardiac procedures cannot be coded without operative reports. Operative report is must for accurate coding.

As per the limited documentation we have, code 37215 transcatheter placement of intravascular stent(s), cervical carotid artery, open or percutaneous, including angioplasty, when performed, and radiological supervision and interpretation; with distal embolic protection appears to be appropriat. Also, please check code 75600 for thoracic aortogram.

Thanks.
