Can codes listed be used on same bill/claim

SuperCoder Posted Wed 23rd of November, 2011 21:07:37 PM

can you use the following codes together? '11100', '11055','17110'

SuperCoder Answered Thu 24th of November, 2011 07:03:59 AM

If these three procedure are performed on a singel lesion then only CPT 11055 will be reported.
If performed on three different lesion then you can code these procedure as following-
11055
17110-59
11100-59

Though CPT code 17110 and 11100 have more RVU then 11055 , but both are column-2 codes for 11055, hence modifier 59 will be added to 17110 and 11100 only (not with 11055).

Hope this help
