If Dr. removed painful hypertrophic scars from bilateral breast measuring 315 sq cm it really seams crazy to bill 13101,11406 LT,11406 RT,&cpt; 13102 61 times for 13102 to meet the 316sq cm any suggestions?

Hi, Please check the exact measurement of the removed scar as MUE suggests the billing of only 9 units of 13102 at 3 date of service, along with the modifier 59. Also, the modifiers LT and RT are not applicable for 11406, so only one unit of 11406 would be billed. Hope this helps! Thanks.
