Janet Posted Mon 02nd of February, 2015 15:17:50 PM

In the January edition of the neurology and pain management there was a "you be the coder' question regarding the billing of these 2 codes. I am trying to research and find the correct answer before sharing this with the providers and coders. Could you give me information to back this up.

Hi Janet-

Upon further research of this question, please note below from Federal Register regarding 62311:

After considering comments received, we are finalizing CPT codes 62310, 62311, 62318,
and 62319 as potentially misvalued, finalizing the proposed RVUs for these services, and
prohibiting separate billing of image guidance in conjunction with these services.
