If a hospital has a provider that is a cardiolgist and also works as hospitalist and does echocardiogram, ekg, or etc can we bill for that procedure if the provider is on call as the hospitalist.

Thanks for your question. If the provider is a cardiologist and is working at your hospital as a hospitalist then yes you can bill for echos, ekgs and any work that he completes for your patients.
