L Posted Tue 27th of September, 2016 23:32:53 PM
Would I use 26055-50 and 26145 for the following? DIAGNOSIS: Bilateral index finger stenosing tenosynovitis. PROCEDURE: Bilateral index A1 releases and limited flexor tenosynovectomy. Thanks!!

Above mentioned procedure codes are correct except modifiers. Use modifiers F1 and F6 in place of 50 with CPT 26055. Modifier 50 is not applicable for CPT 26055. If surgeon has performed flexor tenosynovectomy bilaterally , then add 50 modifier also with 26145.
