Autograft 2

Vaida Posted Wed 19th of November, 2014 10:48:49 AM

Hi. I have some doubts about Autografts. Can you please take a look at the example bellow and give us proper CPT codes and modifiers?

Case 2: Adult patient with 3 split-thickness autografts: left upper arm 3x17 cm (51 cm²), scalp 7x7cm (49 cm²), genitalia 3x4 cm (12 cm²).

Thank you!

Thanks for your question. You would bill 15100; Split-thickness autograft, trunk, arms, legs; first 100 sq cm or less, or 1% of body area of infants and children (except 15050) and 15120; Split-thickness autograft, face, scalp, eyelids, mouth, neck, ears, orbits, genitalia, hands, feet, and/or multiple digits; first 100 sq cm or less, or 1% of body area of infants and children (except 15050).
