Auditing Pediatric sick visits/ auditing Pediatric well visits

Deborah Posted Wed 24th of February, 2010 21:52:22 PM

I know this is going to sound crazy but are there special E/M coding rules for pediatric doctors?

Does anyone have a audit template for both sick and well visits that they would share?
My direct email address is dpotts@dicksonmd.com

Thanks in advance

For Neonatologists and pediatric doctors, there are a series of E&M codes, 99460-99480. These codes describe newborn care services, pediatric critical care services and initial and continuing intensive care services for neonates & infants.
