Anterior pelvic bone fracture, percutaneous skeletal fixation

Lynn Posted Mon 31st of August, 2015 14:44:45 PM

Has CPT developed a code for Percutaneous skeletal fixation for an Anterior pelvice bone fracture? I am only able to find one listed as Posterior.
If no, do you have a coding suggestion?

No, there is no specific CPT code for percutaneous skeletal fixation for Anterior pelvic bone fracture. We would recommend you to use unlisted CPT code for this procedure. Do not forget to provide proper documentation to support the unlisted procedure while submitting for reimbursement.
