She was recommended to have anterior repair with apical suspension. The vaginal vault was then suspended at the lateral margins using the suture and incorporating the bladder in its process. When these stitches were secured the bladder was retracted in a correct anatomical position. The redundant vaginal epithelium was then resected and then closed to the midline using a 0 Vicryl suture. Following the procedure a cystoscope was then inserted into the bladder and both urethral ostia were visualized. I have CPT code 57240 does this include the apical suspension or is there another CPT code to add. thanks!

You should use CPT code 57240 only. There is no need to bill another code for apical suspension.
Procedure involves using delayed absorbable or permanent sutures, provider plicates the fascia in the midline. He identifies the weak edges of the deep vaginal wall and sutures the strong tissue next to the edges to each other, raising the bladder and forming a strong wall below this. The provider removes excess vaginal skin. He then closes the vaginal incision with dissolving stitches.
