Can you seperately bill for the administration of Angiomax used in PCI procedures or is it considered to be inclusive?

SuperCoder Answered Tue 14th of May, 2013 16:12:56 PM

Payers are likely to see the admin as routine/integral to the PCI procedure and so won’t consider it separately reportable.

Thanks for your reply, can you tell how the Angiomax itself would be charged for.

SuperCoder Answered Wed 15th of May, 2013 13:08:48 PM

The entity bearing the cost of the supply will use code J0583.
