ALLERGY TESTING

Karen Posted Sat 18th of July, 2015 10:25:59 AM

What is the maximum allowable units for allergy testing for Medicare to date ?

CMS do not mention Medically Unlikely Edit (MUE) for all CPT codes. In allergy testing, few codes have MUE as 18 and few mentioned as None. So, I would suggest you to ask Medicare and other insurance companies (you dealing with) that what are their allowable unit limit for allergy testing CPT codes.
