cpt code 14040 was recorded for the following: "Right hand lesion was injection with lido + epi, removed 15mm lesion; sent for permanent path; frozen section performed on quadrants serially, margin cleared after second series of excision; wound closed after flap cut- rotational, Chromic and prolene." Is this correct? Thank you

CPT 14040 is the correct code for rotational flaps/tissue transfer/advancement flaps. This code will be correct for above form of wound closure. Thank you.
