Able to bill

I work for ENT that was call in, just in case they needed to assist in an extubation. But was not needed and she did not assist in any way. My question is can we still bill.

I advise her we could not bill since she only stood by and did not assist in any way.

Yes, you are right in this.You can't bill for services that haven't been performed.
