Is possible that two independent Infectious C. Physicians can bill (99222)for the same consultation on different dates?
Both physicians are partners.

Assuming the patient was not readmitted to the hospital for the second encounter, no. The first encounter should be 99221-99223 for initial hospital care and 99231-99233 for the subsequent hospital care. Since the physicians are in the same group and specialty, they will be treated as one physician even though the second hospital care service may be the first time the physician is seeing the patient for the problem.
