97750

David Posted Wed 18th of March, 2015 15:32:00 PM

For 97750, does all the work have to be done on the same day or can you break the work up over several days; if I total 30 minutes would I bill the two units on the last day once the work is completed or 1 unit for each day of work?

You need to bill 1 unit of CPT code 97750 for each day of work (minimum 8 minutes).

What if it took 60 minutes? Can I break it up in serval days or can I bill the 60 minutes the same day

As the description of the code 97750- physical performance test or measurement (eg, musculoskeletal, functional capacity), with written report, each 15 minutes.
It says each 15 minutes, so you can code it accordingly with multiple units for the same day.
