75710

Ashley Posted Mon 04th of April, 2016 08:51:25 AM

Can this could be used alone or is it a add on code, most of the time it is billed when 36215 is billed and 75710 is used with it but I have some new doctor using it when they do an angioplasty

and angiography was performed by injecting 80 Isovue 300 contrast through a 7f catheter. Images were obtained from arterial anastomosis to the SVC.

Above is how it is documented. Thanks

Thanks for the Query

CPT 75710 is not an add on code. It can be billed separately. CPT code 75710 is used with 36215 for radiological supervision and interpretation of catheter placement and along with cpt 75710, for intra-arterial injection procedures 36215 is used. Hence, Cpt code 75710 and 36215 will be used together as per the documentation of radiological supervision & interpretation of catheter placement (75710) and for intra-arterial injection procedures (36215)
