72114

Leigh Posted Thu 31st of March, 2011 16:48:31 PM

Our office is having a disagreement as to what a "complete" lumbar spine is according to this code.
Theory 1- 72114 is a 4 vw complete series plus 2 vw bending which = 6 total vws.
Theory 2- 72114 is a 2 or 3 vw complete series plus 2 vw bending which = 4-5 total vws
Which is correct and is it anywhere in "print"

TIA

To justify to the complete level of exam 72114, it should justify just the previous level of exam, i.e.,72110 and in addition it would need additional bending views.

It can't be 2-3 views plus two bending views; because it is not justifying the previous level of service at least without the bending views.

Will try to find info resource ASAP & send you.
