After the cataract surgery, within post-op period Dr performed 66840. I checked the guideline from the insurance and fould out it is not covered procedure. Is there other procedure I could bill?

You can in-fact use modifier 78 with 66840 to let the payor know, the procedure being performed within the Global Period.
