4 Trigger Point Injections

Annette Posted Fri 04th of March, 2011 20:49:03 PM

Patient has 4 dx's 721.0, 729.1, 924.01, 842.12. Had 4 trigger point injections and a splint. Office usually submits injections with 20610 but I thought I should use 20553 and both were rejected. Also Q4051 was rejected. Please help!

20553 is absolutely alright. But Primary Dx is not compatible with 20553. Check the ICD crosswalk.
