For non dialysis circuit when doing angioplasties would we bill for a 37248 for Subclavian Vein and can we bill 37249 for the innominate vein that we also did an angioplasty on?

Hi Christine,

These codes seem ok as per above information. As for non dialysis circuit, these codes seem appropriate. To guide you further you may send as little more details. Thank you

only asking because with the old codes you could not bill 2 central angioplasty since they were in same segment was not sure if that still applied.
SuperCoder Posted 1 Year(s) ago

Yes it is correct to bill both the codes.
