Please help.

I coded this procedure with the following code: 31231

Subjective: 63 year old gentleman seen in the past for sinus problems. He had sinus surgery in 1999.

PHYSICAL EXAM:
EARS:Both ear canals and eardrums look fine.
NOSE: Anterior rhinoscopy is unremarkable.

I sprayed both nostrils with Neo-Synephrine and xylocaine. Put some Neo synephrine and Xylocaine on some cotton pledgets, left them in for about five minutes, removed them and performed nasal endoscopy with a 2.7 mm, 0 degrees scope. The right side looks fine than the left side. He has had some what looks like endoscopic sinus surgery.

is the cpt code correct?
