Jamie Posted Thu 23rd of May, 2019 16:49:39 PM
If a patient came in and picked up our 24 hr Blood pressure monitor and came back the next day to return it. If the report says...Recorded at 05/21/19 read back on 5/22/19. What would be the correct dos?

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your question.

As per this documentation, it is clear that the patient took the blood pressure monitor on 05/21/19 but returned back on 05/22/19. The physician will evaluate the information of the monitor on 05/22/19. So the physician will bill on this date. Hence, the date of service should be 05/22/19.
