im billing code 67840 for removal of benign lesions, but there were two. can i use 2 units or how do i bill for both lesions? thanks

Code 67840 has MUE of 3, which means this code can be billed three times on the same date of service. So, if doctor has removed two lesions, then you may bill two unit of this code with an appropriate modifier.
