Rachel M. Kaser



Rachel M. Kaser is an Auditor for from The Coding Institute, where she completes audits for several clients including hospitals, large and small group practices, and specialty clinics. Through American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), she is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) since 2008. She is also an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer. Rachel has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.


Rachel has assisted health care organizations on all aspects of coding, billing, documentation, compliance, and performance improvement. She previously implemented, trained, and provided continued support for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software systems in emergency department settings. She has provided education to physicians regarding Meaningful Use, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), and performance improvement plans. She has also developed customized physician dashboards and analytical reports for performance analysis.
