Report 74328-74330 for ERCP RS&I

Question: Our physician performed the radiological supervision and interpretation (RS&I) during an endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Is there a code for this service?

Answer: Radiologists frequently perform RS&I when gastroenterologists perform ERCP surgeries (43260-43272). You should select the most appropriate of the following three codes to describe the radiologist's work depending on the radiologist's documentation:
74328 Endoscopic catheterization of the biliary ductal system, radiological supervision and interpretation
74329 Endoscopic catheterization of the pancreatic ductal system, radiological supervision and interpretation
74330 Combined endoscopic catheterization of the biliary and pancreatic ductal systems, radiologicalsupervision and interpretation.
