FAQ: How Do I Set Default Preferences for My Code Search? (Search Bar Update!)
No one has time for extra clicks. To get to your code results faster, TCI SuperCoder online coding package users may set default search preferences. Here’s how to do it.
1. After logging in to your account, select My SuperCoder/Set Search Settings.
2. Choose Listing (range page) or Details (single-code page) for each code set in your subscription. Your chosen page-type will open after you search a code in the search box.
3. NEW! Click your preference next to Default Search Tab to mark your default source for keyword searches, such as Code Sets and Indexes. Your choice here affects the dropdown list on the search box.
4. Click Save Your Settings.
Tip: If you don’t want to use your default for a single search, there are some shortcuts. To see a details page instead of a listing page, enter ! after your code, such as I10!. To see a listing page instead of a details page, add * after your code, such as 99213*. For the search bar dropdown, simply make a selection from the dropdown list before you search. Your default selections will remain the same so you can get back to your usual search without delay.
