Pt 48 yr old seen in clinic for complaints of anal skin tags and perianal lesion. Doc states because pt has never had a screening colonoscopy she should schedule one. I do not consider this a screening because pt is not asymptomatic. Wouldn't anal lesions be considered GI symtoms. Am I missing something?

You are correct. Anal Lesions cannot be considered as GI symptoms.
