  1. Does anyone know what the cpt code is for removal of a peg tube that was done in the hospital? I can't find a code for removal so is the removal included in the fee for the placement of the tube? I know we charge for an EM visit if it is removed in office but have not had one done at the hospital before. Thanks for any help with this issue.

  2. Use 43247 if done through endoscopy.
Use 43500 if done through incision.
